Where is RamsHorn Lodge located?
RamsHorn Lodge is at 416 Vail Valley Dr, Vail, CO 81657, across the street from Golden Peak. Vail Village shops and restaurants and the Ford Amphitheater are a short walk away. The front desk is open 9am to 4pm and can be reached at (970) 476-5646.
How far is RamsHorn Lodge from the ski lifts?
RamsHorn Lodge is steps from Golden Peak, directly across the street, about a 2-minute walk to the lifts. Guests have secure on-site ski and snowboard storage, and the concierge can arrange lift tickets and ski or snowboard lessons.
Is RamsHorn Lodge ski-in/ski-out?
No. RamsHorn Lodge is across the street from Golden Peak rather than on the slope itself, so guests walk about 2 minutes to the lifts. Secure ski storage on-site means you do not need to carry gear back to your suite.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is at 3pm and check-out is at 10am. The front desk is open 9am to 4pm; if you expect to arrive after 4pm, call (970) 476-5646 ahead of time. An arrival registration form and credit card authorization form are completed at check-in.
Is parking available at RamsHorn Lodge?
Yes. Parking is free for guests at RamsHorn Lodge, with on-site spaces. A parking pass is required and is assigned by the front office when you check in.
Are pets allowed at RamsHorn Lodge?
No. RamsHorn Lodge does not allow pets. It is also a non-smoking property, and candles are not permitted in the suites.
Is there a minimum stay?
Minimum stays vary. Management sets nightly minimums by suite and season, and holiday periods may differ. Call (970) 476-5646 or send a reservation inquiry with your dates to confirm the minimum for your stay.
What is the cancellation policy?
The first payment is due at booking, the second 60 days before arrival, and the final payment 30 days before arrival. Each payment becomes non-refundable once its deadline passes. For long-term rental cancellations, contact the office. Full details are on the Rental Policies page.
How do I get to RamsHorn Lodge from the airport?
Denver International Airport is about 120 miles east, roughly 2 hours by car via I-70 West to exit 176. Eagle County Regional Airport is about 36 miles west, roughly 40 minutes via I-70 East. The concierge can help arrange transportation. See the Directions page for turn-by-turn routes.
What is the largest suite at RamsHorn Lodge?
Suite 15 + 15A is the largest: four bedrooms, five bathrooms, and 3,121 square feet, sleeping up to 8 guests. Suites 5 and 12 are also four-bedroom suites that sleep 8, and three-bedroom Suite 11 sleeps 8 as well.
What size suites are available?
RamsHorn Lodge suites are individually owned and decorated, ranging from a 300-square-foot hotel room (Suite 7B, sleeps 2) to one-, two-, three-, and four-bedroom condominiums up to 3,121 square feet. See Our Suites to compare bedrooms, bathrooms, and guest counts.
Which suite is best for two families traveling together?
Suite 11 is set up for it: two king bedrooms plus a bunk room with two sets of built-in extra-long twin bunks, 3.5 bathrooms and 2,169 square feet, sleeping up to 8. The four-bedroom Suites 5, 12 and 15 + 15A also sleep 8. See Our Suites to compare.
Do you have an accessible suite?
Yes. Suite 11 is our most mobility-accessible suite, with direct elevator access, wide hallways, walk-in showers and an open floor plan for the kitchen, living and dining areas. Call (970) 476-5646 to talk through specific accessibility needs before you book.
Is there a pool and hot tub?
Yes. Guests can use the heated outdoor pool and Jacuzzi hot tub, which have mountain views. Both are open daily from 9am to 10pm.
Do the suites have kitchens and washers/dryers?
Every suite has a full kitchen with cookware and appliances except Suite 7B, which has a kitchenette with a mini fridge. All suites have an in-room washer and dryer except 7B and 15A, and an in-room fireplace except Suites 4 and 7B.
Is there Wi-Fi?
Yes. Wi-Fi is free for guests and available in every suite.
Can RamsHorn Lodge host groups?
Yes. With one- to four-bedroom condominiums, RamsHorn Lodge hosts family reunions, wedding guests, ski groups, and small corporate retreats. The team can coordinate lodging, transportation, catering, lift tickets, and activities. Group and discounted pricing is paid by check or wire transfer. See Groups.
